Drilled 1/8" holes in ss prop on 60hp merc 4stroke and found no difference in acceleration. Increased diameter to 5/32" and still found no noticeable difference. Wonder if I should continue with increasing the hole size?/

Got a problem with 150 Black Max. Its an older motor (I would imagine mid 1990's). The taddle tail doesn't have a constant stream of water. When it squirts, it squirts with full force but it is not consistent. there seems to be no blockage. Does the impeller maybe need to be replaced?

What exactly is Thrust? Is there a correlation b/w thrust and horsepower of the electric motor? It seems odd to me that the same manufacturer can produce two 53lb thrust motors but one is a 12v motor and other is 24v motor.
