    I have just picked up a second hand boat with this 1994 3 cyl evinrude on it. starts up no problem. runs super rough at idle, and drops rpms at advanced throttle. even at wot, it drops from 5200 to 4200, say every 5-10 seconds or so. It coughs and splutters on idle also. What ive done so far...

    timing mercury?

    Temperature

    My gauge is fine (tested), my sender wire is fine (new and replaced) I can't get a reading on my gauge. <br />To test I have hooked it up and dropped the brass sender in boiling water and got no reading. Does it need to be grounded to the head to work or is my sender faulty? How do I check?<br...

    Do you know the answer?

    98 merc 115 2stroke. Runs perfect although when it gets to about 2000rpm, it jumps up straght away to 3000 rpm. Is this normal? because od the 2+2 system? Acceleration is smooth to 2000 then jumps to 3000 then smooth to 5200.<br /><br />cheers

    Dual Battery Charging?

    Guys, I have a dual Battery setup. With switch 1, 2 or both. My question is when charging a battery, the negative's are connected together, so it means im connecting to positive and both negative's, is this ok?<br /><br />cheers

    Epoxy Filler and Glue
