One upon a time, I saw something in another thread that these old amplified engines needed a different kind of battery than the normal marine deep cycle battery. Can some one clear that up for me?:confused:
I need to check the RPM's on my old Evinrude, but it doesn't have a tach. I have a dwell meter that we used on automobiles long ago. How/where would I attach it to this motor to read the RPM's. It has two lead w/clips, one read and one black?
