Wind generator ! Too costly for me to buy one that actually produces the Name plate Watts.
Those cheap ones from everything i read and watched videos on did not perform well.
I just installed a cheap 100 watt solar panel kit yesterday.
So far its doing...
For solar charging to meet your demands you need to know where you are starting from, thats why i asked if you knew how discharged your battery was getting.
On this link it has a calculator about half way down the page.
Enter your battery Amp hour and solar panel you are looking at 20 Watt.

You really need to know the state of discharge on both of your batteries are at the end of the day.
Do you have a battery percentage meter you can put on both of the batteries one at a time?
They are pretty cheap to buy.
Also what type of charger are you using now? And how long does it take...

Was hoping to see how the shift rod going to the pull rope cover was shifting the gear F/R .

On the flywheel removal i think it is just a nut . It could be like these new automotive harmonic balancers wheres thier no key.
Checking with piston at tdc the line in the flywheel with the notch or dip in flywheel aligns with the trigger sensor , dont know why flywheel has marks on it after...

I did not do much voltage /amp measureing , my meters would not connect to my app so i did it the old fashion way i ran two wires from the battery i had selected batt voltage i did not charge it after last trip was 12.2 vdc cranked motor still 12.2 vdc , ran it up to 5,000 rpm still 12.2...

Did you find a manual for removing flywheel?
I always start both my motors at dock before i do anything to make sure they both crank, Guess what ?
My little hangkai 6 hp 2 stroke did not crank on the first pull or the 50th pull . It No cranky! I am cranky though.
Plugged out plug had gas...
I guess i will also test the amps on my tilt and trim .
It may be killing my battery when i am using it . Lifting motor hauling loading etc. And if brushes are almost worn out it could be drawing high amperage.
Worth it to check it.

I try to fish at least once a week.
Best i can tell its taking 1,200 watts or more to charge my main battery up.
Based on my 10 amp charger time and i know its not doing 10 amps the whole time.

See i quit all that stuff to cut back on charging , but it aint helped!
If motor is off selector switch is off.
And i put another new one on just to make sure. I always had good luck with the Perko switch.
I even took off cables at night to see if i even had a spark on cables touching it to the...
I under stand and have owned a ton of boats in my time pulling some pretty big loads , but i was also running 30 to 50 miles offshore in the gulf which makes a big difference.
I never ever charged a battery except for a john boat that only had a trolling motor that i used on local ponds.
Looked for amps got tired of searching.
Lowrance fuse is 3 amp , so even going with 2 amps and adding some extra Max should only be a loss of only 14 amp hrs.

I only bottom fish and troll for fish we didnt have in Fl.
