    Loosen locknut on prop on Merc.25hp

    recently installed Solas prop 13p on Merc.25 hp and put new castle washer and new brass locknut after riding around a while loaded up i noticed the locknut was loose. i tighten this nut up tight! it doesnt have a carter key i wish it did!

    Clutch slipping/gear

    I own 89 Mercury 25 hp the other day opened throttle wide open to see what she would do and it started going almost wide open and then it sounded like a trucks clutch slipped and rev d up loud so I eased back on throttle and it caught the gear! Any help would greatly appreciated! Just so u know...

    What would cause this and should I install new or install flat plate? Where’s a good place to order parts 1989?
