A friend is looking at this boat,it said to be a 1968 Lonestar.It's aluminum and around 16ft.The motor is bad,and he's asking $300-for it.Did they still make Lonestars in 1968,and what model could it be?Thanks
I have a black plastic steering wheel that had aluminum inserts on the spokes.The inserts are long gone,and a hard yellow residue is left over.Any idea's how i can get it off without ruining the wheel???:confused:
A friends boat had some cracked glass on the deck,so he remove it.(peeled away).The area is maybe 10x12 inches???The wood is wet,but still pretty solid.What should we put down(after it dries out)before putting down fresh glass/paint???Any help would be great!:confused:

My old Glassmaster is coming along great.The glass on the deck is very thin in spots and worn though even!I need to re coat the deck(NOW!).I want to use Durabak,but can't afford to spend that much $ right now.I need something easy to get (HD???) and that won't break the bank!Any idea's?Thanks

An old man i know had it.He said it was lust run a few years ago,and always ran well.He thinks it's a 1956.Ther serial number is 7522 14403.I paid $75-with the tank.Pics will be up soon.
A friend has an early "70's Johnson 85 or 115???,and when running on a stand we noticed the shaft has a slight bend in it.The prop go's on/off no problem and the bearings are fine.Should he be concerned???
