    I have another dumb question. Who made the 1999 MerCruiser 3.0L? Is it Ford or GM or does it really even matter? I trying to locate parts/manuals, and I was asked who manufactured the engine. It is in a 1999 Bayliner 1850 if that makes any difference. Thanks
