    short to long shaft conversion

    I've got a 1986 200hp 20" that I would like to use on the Wellcraft V20 I'm rebuilding. Needs to be 25" shaft. Does anybody have input on 5" conversion kits from Bay Mnftg?

    got git-rot?

    Been looking thru 100s of posts, and haven't found any mention of git-rot. Buddy of mine says they used it alot when he worked on boats up in Md. I've got an '88 Wellcraft CC that needs some transom work. Guess my question is can I use glycol method to stop rot and then git-rot to repair?

    The unit seems to be working fine, except for "sonar not responding". Shows "0" for depth, but looks like it is scrolling. Could the "SAM" be gone?

    So I think I want to seperate the deck from the hull, rather than just cutting out the interior floor. That way I can check everything stem to stern. What is the best way to do this?
