1983 115hp mercury is leaking/squirting gass out of carb number 2. It is coming out of a screw that has a hole in the middle of it and is located on the side of the carb. What may be causing this?
I just bought a 1983 115 v6 and it starts but will not idle unless i have at least half throttle and when i hit the choke it revs real high for a few seconds. Do you think is it a choke issue or what?
I thing the reverse gear of bearing is out. Any helpfull hints on removing and replacing. Can I leave the lower unit attached? or is it easier or required to remove it?

I replaced the waterpump and don't know how much water should be coming out of the little hole. I ran it both in gear and in neutral. Warter comes out but no more that a water foutain. How should it be coming out?
I bought a 1974 115hp that has not been in the water in 10 years. I got the moter running, but i think i need to replace the water pump. I hooked it up to my water hose and started it. I did have some water coming out of the spout but not a hard stream. Any suggestions or tips?
