I am looking for a Simplex Shifter system.
It is for a 1963 Evinrude Big Twin #40352D
I have looked all over for one.
Does anyone know of a good place to get one.

I have an old Chrysler 2cyl outboard.
I believe it is from the 1960's.
I just bought a 1963 Evinrude Big Twin.
My question is, can I use the Starter Solenoid switch from the Chrysler, in the Evinrude?
The Chrysler one has three connection posts.
One small and two larger ones.

I had posted before that I had the Lark.
I got to looking at the engine and it is a 1963 Big Twin # 40352D.
I need to know if I can use a simplex shifter with this model?
Also can i use a starter button and kill switch as I do not have a junction box.

I have the 1963 model 40 hp of the evinrude Lark.
Mine has a connection on the right for the throttle.
There is an arm on the left I believe to shift gears?
I know my motor is suppose to use the Selectric shifter.
But can I use a simplex shifter on it as well?
I can not find a selectric shifter...
