    That plastic piece is still there and moves when moving throttle . Ill be taking carb off after work. Where should the adjustment screws start at? Just for a baseline, then if running I'll adjust as needed. Thanks guys

    Thanks. I'll look into that. On the carb, the kit came with three different #11 gaskets. The original carb only had one, I'm curious on why the kit has three and if all should be installed. If so which order?? Does anyone have any more info or diagrams on this carburetor?

    Puffs as in almost but nothing being combusted at all. New spark plugs as per OEM. Both have spark. And no diesel, or "watered down fuel" Fresh gas straight into the cylinders and still absolutely nothing. Other than spark timing? Not even know how I can test this. Throwing ideas now, what if...

    Okay then what is? The motor should at least fire up when given a bit of fuel down the spark plug holes.

    The blue / brown is top, brown is bottom. OEM carb kit, I have took it apart twice and everything is there where it should be. Regardless I would think this POS should at least sputter when I put gas in the cylinders. Spark timing? Sparking late or too early etc? Is that adjustable or what??

    Yes jus the primary spark plug wires. It uses to start in like three pulls. Using a drill just cause I wrecked my shoulder and it's sore now. I know something is wrong 😆

    Hi, so i got a 2005, 25HP merc outboard. Im Removing the prop and need to get the carrier nut off. Checking the gears n such, I have no reverse. I don't want to buy the tool. Part number 91-93843-1 . Anything I can use? Or fab up? I know it's left handed thread. Any tips for removal . thanks!
