I'm selling the same style tach on eBay right now. I'm not sure what your 8 cylinder engine is, but my tach is from a 1986 Bayliner with 125hp Force outboard. It is for a 20-pole ignition system, and one the back says 20-pole or 8-pole. Anyway, here's a link...
