    Evinrude 9.9 Electric Start Problem..any help appreciated

    My 9.9 will start with the pull.<br />It will start with the key/electric start AFTER I run the engine at high RPMs for a few minutes, but will only start for a short time.... as if it is allowing it to accept the charge to the bendix/starter.... but only for a short time (2 minutes appx)<br...

    Evinrude 9.9 Electric Start Problem

    I have a problem that I am hoping is not unique.... I cannot start my motor with the ignition (key) but am able to pull start easily... after the engine warms, it may or may not start with key. I have also let the motor run and then attempted to engage starter and I get about a 6 second delay...
