I am trying to get the upper unit off and I think I have to remove the lower unit. Aftter removing all the bolts it drops down one inch and stops. Is there anything that is keeping this up? Some kind of retainer?
I have an 80's bayliner with a 2.3L omc cobra inboard.
It has been parked in a garage for 4-5 years and I am trying to get it ready to go.
After cleaning things out and putting the water ear muff things on it I managed to get the engine going.
There was what looked like a screw on the side...
