    69' 25 HP EVINRUDE still no speed

    OK! I rebuilt the carb,no top end. Had mechanic check spark,coils and carb all seem ok. I put a new fuelpump on today no change. . Mind you I,m only pushing a 14' tinny. Tried my 9.9 to see if the problem might be the tank or hose. No problem,really planed that boat out nicely. Problem motor...

    69 25 hp evinrude oozing

    Just started the new to me motor and it oozes carbon from every seam. I cleaned and rebuilt the carb but it skips and dies at low speed in a barrel. The plugs are not new and they're pretty black and wet. Any suggestions?

    Rude 6hp Model# and impeller ?

    6802R-E10313. I bought an impeller kit last fall. It covers several years for E/J 6hp motors. When I removed the old pump the impeller is about 1/2 the size of the new one. There is no way that it's going to fit. Is there another kit for this motor? Thanks.

    Gas tank cleaning?

    3 Gal. steel tank not used in years. What would be the best method to clean it out? Ive heard screws or BBs and a good shaking,but with what else? Gas or carb cleaner?
