Manual titl cylinder on my 1974 Johnson 70hp is frozen- can't drop prop down any farther than 2nd hole- I think the angle might really be effecting my ability to plane. But no more spares available from dealer- any suggestions?
I have a 1974 johnson 70 hp--I attached a generic set of Johnson/evinrude/omc controls- work OK except I can't seem to get the engine to really rev up--now that I think about, have not checked to make sure it can rev up- but sounds like it should have more-- also boat is no going up on plane...
