I isolated the 3 sets of wires that come off the stator and go to the proper terminal connection for each cd pack.
One set reads 870 ohms (brn/blu and brn/yel)
2nd set reads 1400 ohms
3rd set just blinks and reads inffinity (brn/grn/blu and brn/grn/yel)
Is this normal?

Can someone tell what to tighten my exhaust manifold bolts to. I have been checking around and I saw one person say 70 inch lbs and then I saw another thinking 200 inch lbs? What are your toughts

my son just bought his 1st boat and he fires it up and there is no sign of water coming out the telltale. (with ear muffs and submerged in a tub of water)
He thinks it needs a water pump and housing.
What would be the right way to approach this problem.

while out on the lake checking my spark problem, I had the motor turned completly to the right so that I could reach the spark plugs while the engine was running at idle, I then turned the motor completly to the left (port)so that I could check a terminal block on the other side and the rpms...
I have noticed that the screws that hold the two ground brushes in the starter end caps are being overlooked.
These screws must be clean clean clean.
A excellant ground is required for proper starter operation.
I just bought a "rebuilt" starter and it was worse then my old one.

force 150 starts well, idles smoothly with water muffs pumping water, but rpms stay the same when you pull plug wire off #3 plug. Compression is good in all cylinders. plug looks as wet as the others. coil is sending spark. I'm puzzled. Your thoughts...
I figured out that Cyl #3 is missing. Differant type plug, (flat fire) fires more often but still misses.
Compression good, all around 145
Not sure how to check power pack?
Or is it fuel related.
I'm also wondering about 3 carb adjustment.
What are you thoughts?
