    1996 15hp johnson stalls

    hello change fuel pump and spark plugs but now it start runs for 30 seconds then stall or stop.If i give choke runs but stall at idle i have to pull choke to work but then again stall or stop what,s wrong..thanks.

    1986 170hp volvo penta water on dip stick

    Good morning.Now i know why there is water on dip stick my brother in law told me that he ran without water or prestone in rad.He told me i have to change the head gasket and check if the block is not damage.Is he in the ball park?Engine out drive 290A.Thank you.

    I found papers with numbers and serial number like...volvo penta b230...831918 PN-867949...8451.also serial nr.307493...also AQ171A...867885....2200201297...1277..no idea at all about these numbers.Which one of these numbers are the motor serial number? Thank you

    hello, my brother in law gave my wife his volvo penta 290 serial # is 307493 what year is it ,,he say it is a scorpion on the motor it say 16 valve it has 2 carbs 4 cyl.how do i find out the horse power?Made in sweaden....thanks

    Is it hard to change the tiller handle??

    just change my dt25 suzuki 1984 for two 35 hp johnson.One is with the electric starter long shaft 1977 and the other is a 1979 short shaft with tiller handle manual start.They are both in a good shape .I want to put the tiller handle on the other one .Is it hard to change the tiller...

    sportster 1972 25 hp problem?

    Put everything back together .In the service manual they tell me to torque the flywheel 40 to 45 lbs. I torque it at 45 lbs but now i find it very hard to pull.If i torque it at 40 lbs would it be easier to pull ?Also when the 2 screws of the crankcase were missing i tried to start the motor...

    Hi ,just finish changing points and condenser rebuilt the motor and now i got 2 screws left and i dont know where they go.Its with the allen key head..when i pull to start the motor very hard to pull. im gessing they go under the flywheel somewhere .look in the service manual canot find where...
