I bought a new powerpack for this motor. The 2 short brown wires going to the charge coil both have a yellow stripe.Does it matter how I hook them up. I thought 1 should be solid brown, like the old pack and the charge coil has. Thanks

Pontoon has a Red Plug harness and the motor is '76 35hp Evin. with a Black Plug. Does anyone make an adapter? I really don't want to run a complete harness. The motor has a harness, but it's not long enough. Anyone know the simplest way to fix this without changing the boat side harness...
