Right now I have an 86' 150 Yamaha that has some issues oil pump is working fine motor on the other hand has seen better days.
I'm about to run a 94' 175 Yamaha that is in great running condition only the owner was mixing the oil. Can I use the pump off of the 86' 150 on the 94' 175 ?

Just picked up a lil McKee with a 50 hrs mercury thunderbolt 6012284 what year could it be? was told it was an 82' but think that might be off a lil bit. Any advice??
$ 600.00 with 50 mercury. Just picked this thing up a couple weeks ago. Hasn't run in at least 12 years. Rebuilt carbs replaced impeller starts like a champ! Have much work to do but is going to be a great inshore boat.

want to change impeller what steps should I take in loosening the bolts that holds the lower unit together. The lower unit hasn't been removed in three years.
Can the timing be adjusted any other way than getting the motor up to 5000 rpm s? This is on a 89' 60 hrs evin. Also if my cavitation plate is below the botom of the hull would this lower the output of rpm s.
I went from a two wire trim to a three wire trim on my 89' 60 hrs got the motor back on the trim works fine everything is good to go on the older motor there was no trim switch. The 89' does have a trim switch how can I wire it in so it works as well and also the trim indicator on the older...
I installed the older trim relays the trim works but there is a delay between going up and down. When the motor is all the way down the trim goes up rite away when I go to trim it down the motor is running but it takes about 5 seconds till it starts to go down?
