I have a 1985 30hp evinrude, 1985 on a 14ft tinnie..
Last time we were out, I got the boat record ( 14lb snapper) but got a real bad vibration through the boat and the power head end has a heap of play.
It looks to me that the rubber mounts from the gudgeon that holds the mid section...

I have a 30hp evinrude on my 14 foot tinnie. Goes great. It does seem to steam alot out the exhaust after a good long run. I bought it off the original owner who had never flushed it out all its life.
It pumps heaps of water, but the steam makes me think that the cooling water may not...
