I purchased a Uflex Steering wheel to replace my wheel on a 2000 Sun Tracker pontoon boat. I removed the steering wheel nut/washer, the wheel will not come off. Seems that it has a fitting on the shaft that I'm not sure should be pried out or ??? And how should the new...
I just changed the engine on my boat to a 2007 Evinrude E-Tec 90 HP. The boat is a 2000 Sun Tracker Pontoon.
With the new tach, I get 4700 rpm at WOT swinging a 14 x 13. Dealer is advising me to go to a 14 x 11 Hydrus, saying that pontoon boat owners having hydrus props all swear by them...
I am probably going to buy a used (demo) 2006 90hp E-tec which I am sold on. Does anyone have opinion(s) as to these motors vs. Merc, Yamaha and Honda (all 4 strokes).
Also, does anyone know the weight of my Johnson 1991 70hp?

1. My motor cruises all day at 3700 - 4100 but once I go above this, it quits. Then I start it again and go through the cycle again. Could it be the VRO? Just changed the plugs, rebuilt the carbs and found one of the high speed jets was .001...
Can anyone tell me where to get a S-90 or M-90 test light or an inexpensive CD Voltmeter to test the CD ignition system. The Seloc book says to get it from OMC. But we all know what happened to OMC. Searched on the internet, no luck.

I'm looking for a cover for my boat. It's got to fit good and have a means with which to attach it to the boat. It'll be used to cover the boat in its slip, not winter storage.

I am in the process of removing the lower unit after getting a SELOC manual. I've got all the bolts off the unit and it has dropped 1/4" or so. I have not disconnected and cannot EVEN SEE the shift interlock. The manual says it is under the carburator. Can someone please help me...
