I recently purchased a Sea Ray Laguna 24 WAC with no motors
It came with 25" shaft motors
I want to put a single motor on it but the transom is 29" in the dead center so I need a 30" shaft motor correct?
Anything I can do to run a 25" shaft motor on this boat since they are more common...
OK so I have a 1996 4 stroke evinrude 15hp. The motor will run without the fuel line hooked up with the gas in the bowl but floods out bad with the line hooked up.
--with the gas line attached and the carb together when you crank the motor it will not start and gas come out of the air cleaner...

Im pretty sure that all johnson/evinrude motors that were FICHT have a "F" in the model number. Can someone confirm that this model # "J175PXEE" is not a FICHT model?
