    I have a 2008 19' alumaweld with a 200 mercury optima w/jet pump. Took it to the mechanic for its 100 hr service. The mechanic said the wear ring was done. They also are saying I need a new stator. The engine was starting just fine and charging the battery is there something wrong there?

    I beieve the reason it didnt get much use has to do with the age and health of the now deceased owner. the garmin depth finder recorded all 22 hrs so I do know where it went and what Time of year. I was wondering what it costed new to see how much I over paid for it..
