Anyone have any opinions on the Harbor Master line of boats? I am looking at a 45 foot 1997 model with a stolkraft hull. Its a big purchase (almost 200k) so any opinions good or bad would be much appreciated!

Because of the Parks Canada labor walkouts my upcoming trip thru the Trent-Severn waterway is kaput. Anyone have any idea how long it would take with a cabin cruiser to go from Toronto to Georgian Bay via the Welland canal? Would a week be enough time?
I just took possesion of a 1993 27 ft regal cabin cruiser and am trying to figure out when you use the bilge switch. Is it everytime you dock? when under power? Every x number of hours under power? any wisdom much appreciated.....

Its not yet warm enough to start putting boats in the water in my area so locals with used cruisers to sell have them on blocks/in storage. All of them think it normal for me to make a 50k purchasing decision without a test spin and on the say-so of a 2 year old survey. Am I being too cautious...
