well been busy this weekend got everything wired in, except guages . everything is coming to gether nice. One more weekend of finishing touches then the carpet and shell be ready to hit the water!!
hi , i just got a 40 hp merc and it doesnt want to turn over for a compression test. I tried with a key and just heard a click, starter didnt move. so i said ok ill just try and pull sart it, well it pulled but it was really hard to pull and it was kinda jerky like you could feel the pistons...

is this tonuge able to be shifted forward? it looks like if i drill a couple new bolt holes i could pull it out further.
ok i want to trade out my current trailer with the trihaul on in to the trailer with the runabout on it. will this work? the current trailer is 18 ft long and the new one was origanally for an 18 ft boat apparently.
I am using a w55 motorguide wireless trolling motor. i tried to extend the battery hookup 3 feet with 8 guage wire and it was turning itself off within a min of useing it and i would have to disconnect the battery to start again. i took off the extention and it seems alot better. It still shuts...
ok so i finally got some time cleared up and money saved to begin my first figerglass boat rebuild. this weekend we gutted the entire boat and we were greeted with about 1000 lbs of ice, water and wood that had rotted right through. a lucky surprise is that the stringers seem to have been redone...
Hey guys , i have a 1989 Johnson 60 hp outboard. the problem is i mostly use it for fishing and lift the motor when i put the trolling motor down, when i do this i can see gas in the water. i have opened up the cowling but i cant really see any originating spot. has anyone else have this problem...
i recently purchused what i belive to be a 74 signa echo( although i have no paperwork to support this) just was wondering if anyone has one of the boats or knows anything about weather they were foam filled or not. thanks for the help!
