My outboard will idle nicely if I hold the choke almost all the way closed. If I open it up, the motor will rev then start missing (sputtering) and die. I can't find any air leaks. Cleaned the carbs twice. I did notice that the air screws are snugged all the way in. I'm guessing that is not...
I recently purchased a 1987 85HP Force and can't get it to spark. I have new plugs. I pulled the Flywheel and cleaned any rust off the contacts on the stator and points. The three coils have no volts coming out of them. I tested the wires going into the CDI's and they barely move the needle on...
