I am looking into doing the same on my 1993 75 hp ELPTO Serial # 0D269057 and I am looking for a kit or at least a plug to use to keep the bearing in place. Right now I have the pump looped back to it self.
I see plugs listed but they all say they are for a V6. or Yamaha's.
