How do u tell if it is 12 or 24 volt was told 24 but only use 1 batt. Has a 24c stamped on bottom fin. Thanks!!!

Was wondering how you know if it is a 12 or 24 volt. It has a 24c on the fin on bottom of motor???

Just changed the seals and water is still getting to the lower unit oil is almost white. Have any ideas what it could be.
