Hello all ....
I have a 23' CC with a pair of 20 year old Merc 115s on it. I had the starter rewound on the port engine and last week it was firing fine but now I get nothing .... not even a groan or a click. I thought it must be a fuse but I replaced the fuse and still nothing.
Any help...
I have a 23' CC with a pair of Merc 115s on it. On the port side engine when I hit the key the engine just groans. The solenoid checked out so I assumed it was the starter and took it in to have it rewound. I reinstalled the starter and with new and fully charged batteries it still just groans...
I recently became the recipient of a preowned boat with a pair of twenty year old 115 Mercs on it. Recession woes have repowering this boat on the back burner so I'm looking at using these engines until my stars are aligned.
These Mercs run great here at the house but I want to get out and run...
