I put a remanufactured carb on less than a year ago. New filters have less than an hour if even that. I need to take it out and do some adjustments since I was having problems with the fuel delivery. I am also going to check the advance in the distributor.

That is how I did it. Used a bungee cord to hold it ccw so unless the shifter moved when I used the prop to turn it ccw to line up the spines, it should have been lined up. Guess I will try it one more time, it was getting hot out there in the sun and I was getting irritated to say the least.

Checked the tank and the fuel, tank is clean and the fuel is fresh I put some fuel in a glass jar and no water. It is a marine carb that I got and with the water separator bypassed it ran great. So I don't think it's the pick up tube but will check it out before this spring. Thanks for helping...
