    Eagle cuda 168 sonar locator

    I have an eagle cuda 168 locator sounder that was given to me. I have no manuals and am not sure how to mount the pickup. I think it mounts below the water line with the flat surface down, but have never used or installed a locator any suggestions?

    I have a 55 hp seahorse that wont idle or run under load unless it is half choked. If I cover the intake on the lower carb it makes no difference on how it runs but chokes it out on the upper one.
