    Power trim frozen

    I have a 1980 85hp Seahorse Johnson. The motor is stuck in the upright position. When I push the trim up or down switch I hear the trim motor run but the large center post does not move up or down. Any suggestions on what I can check to determine the cause? Thanks, Mark

    Draining carbs on 1980 Johnson 85 hp

    I'm winterizing my outboard but unfortunately I can't get it started. I've changed the lower unit oil and sprayed fogging oil into the cylinders and carbs and manually turned the fly wheel a few times. Is there a way I can drain the carbs of gasoline since it wasn't given any stabilizer? Thanks

    starter problem

    I have 1975 mercury 650 4 cycl. When I turn the key to start it I just here a single click. I manually turned the starter and then turned the key and the starter spun but didn't engage. The next time I turned the key I just got a single click sound again. This scenario repeated. I've never...
