    Cooling system

    1997 115hp o/b Mercury....having issues with the cooling system...water is coming out of the engine with hardly any pressure and hot to the touch all of the sudden...water pump and impeller were replaced not even 1 yr. ago...any suggestions on what might be causing the issue?

    Engine shutting off when shifting to reverse or drive

    I have 1997 115hp Mercury outboard. I got the engine serviced around may and the cooling system replaced about 1 1/2 months ago. I cranked the engine every weekend to make sure that everything was running fine. Thinking there was nothing wrong, I took the boat out and the engine turned over fine...
