    Put thermostats in a pan of water to check temperature operation. Seem to open around 156 degrees according to thermometer. Might be opening sooner but hard to tell, but that’s I when I could see movement. Fully open around 175/180. There clean freshwater parts. Is this acceptable? I thought...

    Hi, does anyone know if a 1991 Mercury 75 20” lower unit will fit a 1994 115 with a 25” w/removable spacer . Need a 20” for my boat as my 75 oil pump went out and rod went through block, This 115 is available but is the 25”xl motor and I was wondering if I could just swap the L.U . Thanks

    72 Johnson 25 hp gearcase bearing head seal

    I’m resealing this gearcase with all new seals. I’m not sure how the bearing head seal is removed and replaced. Anyone have an idea , thanks.

    ‘90 Yamaha 25 hp 2 stroke carb

    i rebuilt the carb on the mentioned motor and I can’t recall on the air screw setting. I’ve seen the standard 1 1/2 turns out to 2 2/8 turns out. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks The manual calls for 100:1 on the oil ratio, seems pretty lean to me.
