I have read alot of stuff on here about octane this and octane that, which is really the best to run in a two stoke? What about fuel additives and stabalizers? What brand of gas is best, and which is the worst? :rolleyes:
Someone suggested the installation of hydrofoils to help stablize and possibly help with speed. Which would be the best to get for my 90 hp Johnson outboard? Thank ya'll for all the info it is very helpful to the guys like me!
I just bought a 17' king fisher with a 82' 90 hp Johnson outboard on it. The thing runs great and my top speed is about 40 mph. Is there any thing that I can do to get a little more out of it? Maybe a new prop? or something of that nature?

I am looking at this boat to buy for my first bass boat. The motor seems to be in good working order, But it has an electric shifter on it. Is this something that I should be concerned about?
