Couple good size dings in the fioberglass shell of my old bayliner, filled them with MarineTex putty and sanded them down flush. What should I coat them with to help protect it?
I have a 84 Force with a 89 lower unit that I need to change/check the gear lube oil on.
Question is the "Fill" and "Vent" screws are horizontal with each other and not vertical like I would be normally use to. Do I change the oil with the outboard down like usual or do I do it with it locked...
I noticed today that I have a oil leak coming from my 1984 Force with a 89 lower unit. While the oil looks clean, I can also easily see where it's coming from but not what part of the lower unit it is.
Right from those two little holes on the underside of that plate, thoughts?
