this motor has been out of service for a year or so
rebuilt carb
changed coil changed plugs
wires water pump
it will start and run like a jewel on muffs
but will not start at all in the water
i know back pressure holds back more than
muffs but im clueless on how to correct this problem...
carb linkage is not advancing butterfies will advance by hand but i can not get the linkage set right where could i find a diagram for a 67 brp stops a 68 and that carb is a little different thanks in advance
i took the sunbird out today to test the carb rebuild and she starts fine and idels great at what sounds like 800 rpm jus short of dieng but tach reads 1200 rpms engine shifts in and out of gear ok tries to stall a little as it goes in but recovers on its own take up to wot slowly carb plates...
