    Wondering where to look for root cause on cylinder 3&4 not firing. Carbs are rebuilt and gas to both. Can a Stator or Switch cause only 2 to not fire? Could really use some help. Thanks in advance.

    Mercury Classic 50 45hp serial number question

    Thank you for the quick reply. It;s been sitting since 2019. Is there a place I can get a manual for the motor? Water pump impeller is now on the list.

    Mercury Classic 50 45hp serial number question

    I recently was given a boat with a classic 50 serial number 0A998927. I've tried finding information using the serial number without any luck. It runs but a bit rough and I'd like to rebuild the carbs before putting in the water. Any help would be great.
