i have a old 1968 starcraft 14ft angler fiberglass it had a 5.5 on it but it wouldnt plane out it weights about 400lb. i just put a new 15 hp mercury four stroke on it and im wondering if it should plane out with the bigger motor
i bought a 14 foot boat this year and i upgraded to a 9.9 but i have a johnson 5.5 that runs just super it starts every first or second pull and its really clean i was just wondering a value of the little motor. i would like to get $200 but im not for sure of the value
i just bought a 14 foot starcraft fishing boat it has a 21 inch transom my motor is only a 5.5 johnson. the motor doesnt stick below the boat im wonderng if it should . the boat moves along ok but seems to skip when you really crank it up like its sucking air.
hi i just bought a 1964 johnson 5.5 runs super i just put a new impeller in it but my questions is what mix of fuel to oil ratio should i use. on the handle it says 50 to 1 could this be correct its kinda faded any help thanks
