The correct winding, here is what I didI took the steering completely out of it brought it inside and just looked at it and I threaded the cable to the middle out each in and back through and then this while wound each side the opposite directions taped it and now I’m installing it in the boat...
Trying to get on the water, my steering is missing the cable from drum pulley system. My drum is solid no long center grove cut in has a center hole inside that opens each end.
Looking to fix up this little boat to do some small lake fishing and the Ohio River. Anyone have some factory or restored pictures to help me along. I have a 1955 25 hp but the transom is too tall, I’ll need a kicker stand for that. Anyone know what motor might have came on the boat new. Thanks...
