    choosing the right prop

    It appears that the first step in choosing the right prop would be for me to install a tach. Then I can get a base line RPM with my current prop. Is that correct ?

    can I easily swap an 850 with a 1150

    I have a 1977 850 that blew just a cylinder. A friend of miine has a 1976 1150 in mint shape. My boat will handle up to a 150 hp motor. Both motor mounts look identical. The connections also look to be the same for these two motors. My question is it a simple switcharoo ? Does the throttle...
