There is a fuse #83 that is a spare, but it replaces a fuse located on the attached diagram that appears to lead to the neutral safety switch and another area. Not sure if it really is part of the neutral safety switch. I cannot see on the diagram where this fuse is, but it is the one that...
I have located the neutral safety switch and have found that the 15 amp fuse was bad. I replaced 2 times and the fuse continues to blow upon replacing. Also tried a 20 amp fuse and it blew as well.
Any ideas?
Everything as should be, tiller model. I was able to start this motor with the electric start one time after I purchased a month ago. The guy I bought it from said you had to "wiggle" with shifting handle to get it in the "right position"/neutral to get it to start. Now I cannot seem to find...
I have a 1996 25 HP Johnson, model J25TKLEDC and cannot start with an electric start. The motor runs fine when I pull rope start, but cannot get it in neutral to use the electric start. Any ideas on a fix?
