    Starter Cuts out

    I have a 1983 80HP Mariner outboard motor. When it is started after not running for a few days the starter disengages and for quite a few attempts it does this. It the problem with the starter and do these have a bendix or a gear that wears out ? Thanks

    My little motor won't start

    Hi there Folks! I have a 2005 Mariner 4 HP kicker motor and can't seem to get it to fire up. Gas is new, Plug is new , but I took the plug out and left it connected to the sp wire and pulled the rope and NO SPARK ! What should I check next???? Thanks, WW

    Hi, I have a 1983 80HP Mariner outboard and my controls are a Quicksilver unit. The problem is it accelerates fine, but when I move the throttle back even just a little, the boat slows down so fast that we feel like we're going to go through the windshield. I have tried to find the problem...

    Blue Fin Boat

    I have purchased a 1983 - 16ft Aluminum boat. This boat has a Blue Fin (New Paris Indiana ) Decal on it. I have tried to find out if these were good boats in their day, but have not found much history regarding the manufacturer. Can anyone tell me if they know anything about them? Thanks
