    Re: Volvo 5.0 (ford ) problem I was just gonna say.... I've run into that a few times. Stuck a '95 'Stang HO 5.0 motor in my 85 Lincoln and it took me a bit to remember that. Getting old sucks. Cool Lincoln though.

    Fire Boat manufacturing

    Here is a FireBoat just about done at Super Vacuum manufacturing in Fort Collins, CO. Driven with big jet drive with a big deck gun capable of 1000 gpm. Mostly used for rescue probably. I'll get some pictures of the powerplant next time.

    Re: vortec headed 383 I'm familiar with both those marine cams. They're good and work well at low rpms. Hard pull all the way up to 5000. Of course it's helpful if the rest of the engine is built to actually use them. Sticking these in a stock engine ain't gonna help all you guys reading this...

    1988 290 DP had been sticking in reverse, difficult to move shifter. Sometimes had to shut down engine to get it out of reverse. Once in forward its fine as long as I don't go back into reverse.     I have a question from a poster on TBM asking if he'll gain 50 hp if he buys and installs an ecm fom a gxi to his gx. I'm pretty sure theres more to the GXi than just the ECM. Any input would be helpful.
