    can't keep running?

    I have a 1977 9.9hp evinrude and it is not running good. i have to choke it to keep it running. i have cleaned the carb. and put a fuel pump kit on it, but it didn't help. Also if i put it into gear and give it gas it will run for about a min. then just die out. if you have any idea's please...

    I have a 1977 9.9hp evinrude. i can get it running but it is rough. i keep it running by playing with the choke. can someone give me an idea on how to fix this. thanks

    motor keeps stoping

    i have a 9.9 evinrude 1977 model. and it will fire and run for a second then quit. i don't see any water from the water pump shooting out any water. it does not sputter or anything. if you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks

    I'm sorry about that my motor is a 9.9 hp evinrude and the s# is E0002957 and the m# is 10724A thanks again.
