I have a warm manifold setup (water also goes to riser from thermostat housing)....
I just got new manifolds and risers.....they sent me cold manifold gaskets..large oval opening vs weep hole.......
can i use to cold gasket or exchange them for warm gaskets??

305 overheats at high rpms....new impeller.....heads recently cleaned up...original manifolds/risers.......is there a good way to flow test the manifolds with a garden house to see if they are passing enough water to keep the engine cool??? heads had salt water corrosion thus the cleaning...
