I am looking at a 1990 Johnson 70 HP that reportedly has 110 to 115 PSI compression across the cylinders. Anybody have a book that shows what normal compression for this engine would be?
1976 Johnson 75 HP Stinger - starts OK and sounds OK - but when I put it into gear it stalls out. It will stall about 9 of 10 times and when I do get it to stay going, it only goes really slow (almost no wake). i ran it for a while thinking it might "clear" but no luck.
