I have a new(used) '87 Bayliner Ciera Sunbridge 2550 with a arch. Engine is a 5.7 and it has a 9.5 beam. When the boat is on plane,do you use JUST the trim tabs or trim the outdrive also,or both???

My buddy has his pontoon boat moored on beautiful Skaneatles Lake,NY. His mooring cover was totally covered in Gull pooh!! We have tried balls,streamers,etc.Does anyone have a sure fire way to keep "flying rats" off the boats??

Hey Guys: Getting ready to fill up my '88 2550 Bayliner(5.7),I have heard many different opinions on gas grade. Is it worth the $$ to get the 89 octane(or higher)or just stay with the 87 octane???
I have a Bayliner 2550 with dual battries and a switch.Does the onboard charger and or the alternator charge the battries all the time?? Does the switch have to be on "ALL" for both battries to charge?? If its on #1,does the other battery not get a charge?? Many questions,no answers. Thanx

I have a '87 Bayliner 2550 Ciera Sunbridge, 5.7, 9'beam.What should my WOT RPMS be?? It seems that they are low,around 3800.I have owned the boat for 1 short summer(NY)would like to have ready to go for '05 summer.

I have oil leaking out of my lower unit,there was water in the lower as well.The prop shaft seal was not seated all the way in,this was where the oil was leaking,can I change/replace the seal myself(how hard???) Thanx,Doug
