We were outboarding at a pretty good clip when reverse got hit accidently. Had to be towed in. Engine/tranny working fine, prop spins but no thrust. Looking for ideas on what this could be??<br />Shear pin? Gears? Any input may be helpful.
My friend just got a boat yesterday and when we took it for it's virgin cruise, I accidently hit the 'reverse' button while we were moving forward at a pretty good clip. We got to it pretty quickly and put it into neutral but, then we ended up having to paddle to shore until some nice people...
